Any player who plays in an age group higher than their actual age group, based on their birth date, is considered to be "playing up." Parents of children who want their child to play up in age group must request a player assessment from the club's Director of Coaching, unless playing up one year to be in the age group of their school grade.
In addition, children who fall into the following special categories must complete a Play-up Consent Form (click on the link to the left). Play-up forms are to be signed in the presence of a notary public and mailed to the Registrar (or Treasurer if also sending in a payment check). Forms filled out for the fall season are valid for the following spring season. Form submission does NOT guarantee placement in the older league.
Notarized Play-up Consent Forms are required for the following situations: 1. Anyone playing up to U10 (even from U9) 2. Any U10 player who is playing up (even to U11) 3. Any U14 player who is playing up to the U15-19 level 4. All players who play up by two or more years (e.g. U7 playing U9 or U12 playing U14)

Instructions for Uploading Photos and Birth Certs | Birth Certificate Requirements
A copy of your child's birth certificate is required for all players. If you did not submit one in the past, please upload a copy of the birth certificate into the registration system. It must be a graphics or photo files, no larger than 512 kB. PDF files are not accepted. If your file is larger than 512 kB, the instructions in the document to the left describe how to make it smaller.

Uniforms
U9 teams and older use the official RED JOMA FOX CHAPEL jersey and a WHITE JOMA FOX CHAPEL alternate jersey with the same number. One pair of shorts and one pair of socks completes the uniform package. These jerseys will be used from FALL 2010 to SPRING 2012.
Sizing Note: Jerseys run slightly large. Shorts run true to waist but are shorter in length. They have a string tie so you can order larger in waist to get more length. Socks U9 recommended no larger than YOUTH XL. U10 and older recommended to Adult Small.
For U6 to U8 play, each player will receive a new t-shirt jersey each season as part of the registration fee. One pair of club socks are also given to each player each year. Upgraded Adidas socks can be purchased at the concession stand.

Player Development Clinics
Clinics desgned for the fresh beginner to the advanced travel team player!
Success in everything comes from quality instruction and repetition. You can improve your child's game and level of enjoyment of soccer through additional "touches" and professional training through our affordable clinics program through Youth Elite Soccer and select professional trainers.
With a session size of no more than 16 players per instructor, FCAYS is developing coed age bracketed, ability-based clinics for this season. The 8 session program is either 1 hour in length or 2 hours depending upon session chosen.
FCAYS D4 SundayTravel Team Player Clinics continue with registration is open to all Division 4 Travel Team Players for the spring session. This is an advanced training program.

Refunds Paid only if there is a Waiting Child to fill the spot vacated. Teams and/or coaches seeking team- oriented professional coaching will have to contract with the club to obtain pro coaches.

| U6 - U8 Team Sponsorships
Help fund FCAYS field improvements while also advertising your business both on teams' shirts and on the club's website homepage. FCAYS Team sponsorships are available for the U6 to U8 age groups. The name of your company will be printed above the number for high visibility. Your logo on the FCAYS home page will appear on a flash basis with another image with a link to your web site on a connected sponsors' page. The cost is $150 per team. You can sponsor a team with your child's registration. Your sponsorship may be contingent upon sponsoring your child's team. Sponsorships are on a First In / First Accepted basis by date of payment received. Team coaches get preference for sponsorships. After that, it's first received and paid.
Upon sponsoring a team, please email sponsors@fcays.org with your child's / desired team age group, boy/girl, and jersey color found on the sponsors page. Please include a jpeg image of your logo and desired web link to your website. Your team color choice will be confirmed and sent to the age group commissioner so that he/she places your child on that team. You may want to check with your past coach for his/her choice of shirt color and sponsor interest prior to starting this process.

Registration Fees In order to discourage last-minute registrations, we are again offering early-bird discounts. We need to declare Sunday league teams by March 1. Therefore, the final deadline is 2/26/12, but if a spot on a team becomes available AND the Commissioner gives approval, some players can be registered after that date. You may find the appropriate Commissioner's contact info on the Who to Contact page. On the other hand, if teams are oversubscribed before the deadline, the teams will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The last ones to pay the registration fee will be placed on a waiting list.

Refund Policy
The registration fee is refundable (minus a $5 processing fee) until Feb. 26 and partially refundable (all except $20) until April 8. The fee is not refundable after April 8. Refund requests should be emailed to Jeff Curry at jhcurry@verizon.net. Credit card payments will be refunded via credit card and other payments will be refunded with a club check, minus the $5 or $20 described above.
