U6 Guidelines:

- The format for play is 3 v 3 on split fields. If a team lacks enough players, share players and create equal teams (NOT FALL 2020)
- Game Length: (2) 16-minute halves
- Referees:  1 coach Volunteer per team per field 
- Players from defending team behind midfield for goal kicks.
- No challenging for ball until offensive player receives the ball
- All Free Kicks are Indirect
- Ball crosses endline: Goal Kick or Corner Kick
- Ball crosses sideline: Kick in (not throw in, FALL 2020)
- Teams cannot score from a kick off


U7 Guidelines
- U7: Game Length: (2) 20-minute halves
- Halftime: 5 minutes
- Referees: FCAYS paid Junior Referees - 1 per field
- 4 v 4 on 2 fields (FALL 2020: JUST ONE FIELD)
- All Free Kicks are Indirect, except penalty kicks
- Penalty kicks taken from the midfield with no defensive players or goalie
- Substitutions: at dead-ball
- Ball crosses endline: Goal Kick or Corner Kick
- Ball crosses sideline: Kick in (not throw in, FALL 2020)
- On a goal kick, only the team with the ball can be on that half of the field.  All other players have to be behind the halfway point of the field until a receiver touches the ball. The player taking the kick can choose to kick it quickly though and not wait for the other team to get behind the line
- Offensive players are not allowed to score until the ball crosses midfield.
- Teams cannot score from the kick off

U8 Guidelines
- Game Length: (2) 24-minute halves
- Halftime: 5 minutes
- 5v5 (including goalie)
- All Free Kicks are Indirect, except penalty kicks
- Penalty kicks taken from the midfield with no defensive players or goalie
- Substitutions: at dead-ball
- Ball crosses endline: Goal Kick or Corner Kick
- Ball crosses sideline: Kick in (not throw in, FALL 2020)
- On a goal kick and when the goalie has possession of the ball, only the team with the ball can be in that half of the field, plus 1 player from the other team, until a receiver touches the ball. The player taking the kick/throw can choose to kick/throw it quickly though and not wait for the other team to get behind the line.
- Offensive players are not allowed to score until the ball crosses midfield
- On a goal kick, the goalie cannot punt the ball (he/she can roll or kick it)
- Teams cannot score from the kick off
